At the age of 3 months, after a high fever, Sofiyka contracted acute viral encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), and to this day, the viruses that have settled there “eat” it.

Recently, a charity foundation “For the sake of the Children of Ukraine” was approached by a family from the village. Golden Stream of Buchach district of Ternopil region.
Their family suffered. Sofiyka’s little daughter, who was only 3 months old after suffering from a fever, contracted acute viral encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), and to this day, the viruses that have settled there “eat” it.
To date, doctors have diagnosed the effects of encephalitis on the basis of immunodeficiency. To save Sofia’s life, she needs to undergo antiviral therapy.

The first month of treatment gave a positive result – the herpes virus type 6 was neutralized. But the necessary medication is very expensive and all the savings parents have already spent on the first stage of therapy.
There are three more viruses, and the monthly amount for treatment is about 60,000 hryvnias. (necessary drugs: immunoglobulin OKTAGAM 50 ml 5% solution, valganciclovir, ganciclovir, neovir, propes, alpharon, hepaval).
This family can’t cope without our support. So we urge everyone who cares to join this good cause!
