Project objectives

The story of this family is sad. Two members of the Shtank family, a mother and a son, need immediate help. Shtanko Mykhailyk was born in December 2013. The family lives in Rubizhne, Luhansk region. The boy is diagnosed with bilateral reflux, which means the lack of functioning of one kidney and this, in turn, hinders the development of another.
Another trouble befell this family. The boy’s mother was hospitalized a month ago also due to kidney problems. She has stage IV glomerulonephritis. She is currently in urgent need of a kidney transplant, as both have almost stopped functioning.

This operation costs a lot of money, which the family does not have. Therefore, the team of the For the Children of Ukraine Charitable Foundation wants to help the boy by collecting UAH 35,000 for the operation. He needs to have an operation to remove one kidney and insert a valve into the urethra.
The lives of mother and son are in danger, so we ask everyone who cares to help this family. We are sure that together with you and your help we will make the boy’s life healthier!
