Even today, when society’s attention is focused on the tragic events in the country, we must not forget about children who live in boarding schools and orphanages and need the same attention and love as a year ago. These children have not decreased and the problem of orphanhood has not disappeared, on the contrary – the war is forcing disappointing statistics to grow.
Material well-being is the basis of the living conditions of these children, so it is important that the stay in the orphanage was comfortable. Unfortunately, today not every institution of this type can boast of new beds.
Representatives of the Tarashcha branch of the municipal institution of the Kyiv Regional Council Kyiv Regional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children “UZIN” asked our charity to buy new ones for the institution: blankets, bedspreads, towels and bed linen. At the moment there are about 40 children in the institution.
