It is no secret that orphanages in Ukraine need significant assistance, as they lack state support. The issue of warming is especially acute. It often happens that the temperature in the room does not meet the norm, and children have to freeze. Also, many orphanages need to replace heating systems, windows, wall insulation and more.
Given the urgency of the problem, the team of the Charitable Foundation “For the Children of Ukraine” launched an all-Ukrainian program to support orphanages in need of assistance with insulation. The program is called “Warmth in every orphanage.” The first children’s institutions that fall under this program are the Zaporizhia Regional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children (Zaporizhzhya), Chyhyryn Boarding School for Orphans, Children Deprived of Parental Care (Chyhyryn, Cherkasy Region) and Odesa House. boarding school for children with disabilities (Odesa). Letters of assistance were sent to our foundation from these three institutions.

Recently, a representative of the foundation Tetyana Vlasyuk visited Chyhyryn boarding school. This is a special boarding school of I-II degrees of Cherkasy Regional Council for orphans and children deprived of parental care. It has been operating since 1989 as a boarding school for mentally retarded children. 92 children study there. In a letter to the foundation, the director of the boarding school SO Mandych noted that the boarding school needs help in replacing the old window frames with energy-saving ones.
